Bannister's Point Lodge & Day Spa

This is an upmarket venue with a stunning wet edge or 'infinity' pool, new day spa facility and Rick Stein at Bannister's restaurant which is setting new standards for cuisine and service on the South Coast.

We stayed in the accommodation and dined in the restaurant before the recent addition of the day spa but all reports are that the pampering services are right up there.

More recently, we dined at Rick Stein's restaurant and while the cuisine had been very good previously, the service level and professionalism has been cranked up at least another notch. Consequently, the prices have also increased, so we'd suggest you save this for a really special occasion when you're prepared for a little splurge.
