The Sydney Morning Herald 2010 Good Food Guide highlights some of the fantastic food, events and eating out available on the South Coast.

Local produce, cafes, restaurants and food festivals are an important part of life on the Coast.

We're delighted to know that our region is rapidly becoming recognised as a good food destination.

In fact, Caveau's and Lorenzo's Diner in Wollongong have each been recognised with a Sydney Morning Herald chef's hat in the latest ratings.

Also, Donegan's Steakhouse, Batehaven have just been awarded the Steakhouse of the Year in this year's Restaurant and Catering NSW South Coast Awards for Excellence.

Congratulations also, to all of the South Coast businesses who were recognised in the current Good Food guide.
