Grey Shrike-Thrush

by Frosty
(NSW South Coast)

Near 2 years ago, a mega event happened to me. I was extremely lucky to be adopted as friend by a very gregarious Grey Shrike-Thrush.

I've posted a few videos of him on youtube.

I call him Shrikey. Yeah, I know that some might say that's too common a name for him but I talk to him as Shrikey, as though I've known this little Aussie bloke all my life. He visits me many times a day. Shrikey happily wanders all over me as I feed him grubs, moths, insects etc and he generally just helps me get through my painful chronic pains.

He also brings out the silly side of my nature, which is okay by me.

I would be really grateful if any one can put me in contact with people who have G S-T's as one of their main focuses. Especially if they are in the NSW South Coast area.
