The Independent Grocers of Australia store (or IGA) at Tomakin, near Broulee and on the coast road between Batemans Bay & Moruya has a surprisingly good selection of spices, herbs and other of the more exotic food produce.
The store stocks a great range of fresh produce, sourced locally when in season. A couple of our favorites are the Bodalla Dairy shed's milk 'as close to natural milk as we're allowed to sell it !' The milk is pasteurized just above the legal min temperature but not homogenized, so it retains the creamy flavor [and the ability to separate into a thick layer of cream at the top of the bottle.... just like us oldies like to remember the milk from our childhood in the 'good old days!'.
Another special treat is the bread delivered twice a week from the Dojo Bakery in Braidwood. This sourdough is 'to die for' and you won't be disappointed.
