where artists can paint some large fresh produce figures which will be moved to the rooftops
of some Eurobodalla businesses as part of the upcoming Harvest Festival celebration. Belly
dancer, Melanie White, will also be at the Live Life Expo shimmying her way again towards a
World Record Attempt for the Longest Belly Dance Shimmy.
Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Live Life Coordinator, Linda Campbell, says the Expo will provide a wonderful opportunity for people to learn all about the Live Life Eurobodalla Healthy Communities
project and about other great, healthy and active programs across the
Shire.
“Now is a great time to start thinking seriously about putting all those New Years’ resolutions into practice.
The Expo is a great place to start,” said Ms Campbell. The Live Life Eurobodalla project aims to improve the health of the community by increasing opportunities for physical activity and eating well. “All of the programs are free for concession card holders and subsidized
for non-concession holders.
The Project also offers transport and crèche assistance to make sure everyone can participate.” Ms Campbell said.
A free transport service will be running from Batemans Bay and Narooma to the Expo in Moruya, but hurry, bookings are required.
