Moruya Golf Course

by Jim
(Wollongong)

The weekend was a great success for our group of 20.
The accommodation at Luhana Motel was perfect (although the breakfast was a bit ordinary). They allowed us to use their BBQ area and did not complain at all about a little rowdiness later in the night.

The Golf course was absolutely fantastic. The course pro and the other staff bent over backwards to accommodate us on all aspects. I am sure the course would have been closed on the Saturday due to the overnight rain but they still allowed us to play and use the carts. (it was closed Sunday and Monday). They stored our clubs, transferred us to and from the course. A big tick for the course and employees, it was a great 2 rounds.

The only negative for the weekend (for the night owls) was Moruya pretty much shuts down when the sun disappears. It was very hard for the young guys that wanted to kick on to try and find an establishment they could get a beverage from.... BUT that was most likely a good thing in hind sight.

Thanks very much for the recommendation, we had a great trip. We will definitely be looking to see where to next for our trip next year. We will most likely start to plan around October this year. Happy for any new recommendations you may have.

Cheers
Jim
