Moruya Thai - decline in service
by: Anonymous

Moruya Thai has lost its mojo. Service has slide and was low. Example was one of our party of four was made to wait until we were all almost finished our entree before she was served and again made to wait until we were almost finished our main ( one wonders if they are so petty that an accidental glass breakage with apology caused this).

I would suggest that if they continue to decline in service I would recommend avoiding this restaurant during the coming holiday season.

the moruya thai resturant is awesome!.Its a great place to take friends and family becuase you know the food and service is always excellent.I think consistency is one of the keys to running a successful resturant, and they most definatley have it! ....and through my experience they were not slow at all!

Best Thai by far
by: Allan & Jacque Chisholm

Definitely the best Thai we have ever had! Restaurant is very clean and cosy. Staff are attentive and despite earlier comments is definitely not slow in serving you. The Tom Yum is to die for and all of the meals are quite exceptional and have style not usually found in most Asian restaurants eg the black bean sauce is more of a jus than a traditional sauce and is quite refreshingly different.

If there is just time for one restaurant meal when in Moruya you cannot go wrong by going here!

Slow slow slow

Waited 50 minutes for 2 dishes take away, what a joke! The worst part is being told 5 mins away and waiting another 20. Never again!

Great food but very slow service
by: Gary from Moruya

The food was great, but it took us two hours to have dinner because of the slow service. We noticed that people were coming in to order takeaway and then getting their food well before us. Maybe we just got them on a bad day, but they need to monitor their service for the people who are eating in and not give precedence to the takeaway orders.

The decor and atmosphere is intimate and delightful, and the food is absolutely delicious. Fresh and plentiful. The host is attentive but not intrusive, and it was a delight not to be hurried out the door, which is a change for Moruya restaurants. You will enjoy the experience.
