Nature Coast Marine Group Bodalla & Potato Point walk
by Jenny Edwards
Dear NCMG people
We are planning a day out at Bodalla & Potato Point on Saturday 18th August. First an inspection of the fascinating Fishing and Maritime Museum at Bodalla, then lunch at a new cafe (or you are welcome to BYO picnic), followed by a walk around the rocks at Potato Point while hearing a little about the history of the place from Rachel McInnes. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested in joining the group and give us your mobile number if you have one.
Hope you can come
Meet at the Museum at 11am. You will probably need to park beside the highway at the Matilda Service Station as the little road down to the museum does not have much room to park or turn. The museum is just behind the service station.
The owner charges $5 per adult, I think children are $3 each.
We will work out arrangements for lunch and the walk on the day.
Make sure you are wearing sneakers or similar for the rock walk. Other things you might like to bring are a stick for balance if needed, camera, hat and maybe light weight binoculars in case we get lucky and see whales.
