As a Gardens volunteer I was delighted to stumble across this gem. It captures the essence of the Gardens experience.
The Chef's Cap cafe is now run by Wendy. She tends to open around 10.30 am so go for a walk first on weekdays. The Gardens itself now opens at 10am on weekends and public holidays.
A new addition is the Children's Play Space near the barbecue area. Many families have picked up the generous publicity in the local newspapers and have added the Gardens to the beach as a place to take the youngsters. And they have found we have paper-based treasure hunts to keep young people amused.
Definitely !
Ed's Note: The volunteers at the ERBG have done a FANTASTIC job !! A great alternative to the beach plus it's Educational for young and the not so young.
