Quaama Harvest Fair

Quaama Harvest Fair - from 10am Saturday 21 April - Quaama Hall

Markets: The best our region has to offer. Local produce, preserves, flowers, olive oil, cakes, local arts and crafts, craft supplies and a food court with local ice cream (made from a secret recipe!), espresso coffee, a sausage-sizzle and more. Have morning or afternoon tea in the supper room where you can browse and buy works by our very talented local artists.

If you have a few goodies to sell but not enough to book your own stall, the QPA is providing a trading table. Label your goods clearly with a description and price and leave a container for moneys paid.

Talks and demonstrations about gardening, hot composting, cheesemaking, preserving and some wonderful local initiatives.

Inside the hall the amazing Mehu Liisa Steam Juicer will be in action with a tag team of young helpers steaming everyone’s excess fruit into wonderful juice that will be donated to Quaama School. Bring in your excess apples, pears, nashis and feijoas and clean wine bottles please (we will sterilise)!

Pot swap – bring in your used garden pots or take some away to re-use in your own garden.
