The Gardens in Eurobodalla Botanical Gardens

The Gardens Café is another one of the South Coast's hidden gems, located just off the Princess Highway surrounded by the natural beauty of the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens, between Batemans Bay and Mogo.

The cafe offers homemade soups, savoury quiches & frittatas, turkish melts, burgers, all freshly prepared from fresh local produce. The Gardens offer a selection of Gluten Free options with a new menu for the coming season.

Eat inside or dine 'al fresco' in the winter sun, or under the shady veranda during the warmer spring, summer and autumn months. Try the cafe's freshly brewed coffee or a devonshire tea.

During your visit, take the opportunity to wander through the gardens. If you're interested in Australia's native wildlife, you'll find a wealth of fascinating things at the gardens.

The Botanic Gardens offers a variety of venues which are used to promote the Gardens to the public.

For functions, the Gardens Café seats 50 inside, and is a popular lunch venue for local club meets, birthdays and activities. Bookings for larger groups are essential for catering purposes.

More recently the gardens adjacent to the Cafe has also become a popular place for staging public activities such as family fun days, concerts and fund-raising activities.

The lawn area on the northern side of the Visitors Centre can accommodate a large number of people, and has been successfully used for staging musical and open air film events after dark.

A BBQ area is situated approximately 150 metres from the Visitors Centre. There are two large undercover gas barbecues, with protected seating and tables. Toilets are nearby. There are more tables and seating in the open and they are close to large open areas. Please note that power is not available to the BBQ area.

The gardens are also used by community groups as a meeting place, and by schools to assist students in environmental studies.

Both the Café and Gardens are wheelchair friendly with parking, paths & facilities.
Open 7 days a week except Christmas Day we all need a holiday sometimes 10.30 to 4pm. and 9am to 4pm during the summer months of December, January and February.

Calling in to the Gardens Café is a great way to get the most from your visit to the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens.

Had a fantastic bacon and egg roll with coffee today at the Gardens Cafe.
Enjoyed the sunshine and lunched with a small mob of grey kangaroos.
Browsed the native plant nursery with some very healthy specimens of tubestock and seedlings.
