The southerly migration of whales down the east coast of Australia has reached The South Coast and while Sydney and the North coast are almost at the end of their whale watching season, ours is just beginning !

A pod of Southern Right Whales with at least 1 calf has been lolling around Broulee's South beach for just on a week now and several sightings are happening at various other points along the Coast.

These pics were taken by Josh at Region X Sea Kayaking during a close encounter just a couple of days ago.
